About Us
DailyDawahs began in 2020 as an online platform sharing Islamic reminders and content. It has since grown into a broader educational and community development organisation — now a registered non-profit company serving families across Cape Town.
Islamic Education
Learning Islam here is not just about books — it is about building character, love for the Deen, and a connection with Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. We nurture faith, knowledge and good character from a young age.

Content, Reminders & Outreach
We share Islamic reminders and educational content across our social platforms to inspire, educate and strengthen the Ummah. Beyond that, we deliver Jumu’ah khutbahs and guest lectures at schools, masaajid and community programmes.
Everything we do aims to increase beneficial knowledge and help individuals live according to the teachings of Islam.
LightUpLives with DailyDawahs
LightUpLives is the charitable arm of our organisation. Through the collection and distribution of Sadaqah, Lillah and Zakat, we bring relief and make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Providing essential food parcels and clothing to individuals, families, schools and communities in need.

Distributing Qur’ans and authentic Islamic resources to students, masaajid, institutions and communities.

Supporting masaajid with essential resources, maintenance and educational materials.

Assisting individuals and families with sponsorships, financial aid and essential support to fulfil the journey.

Contributing towards Hifth sponsorships, madrassa fees, educational resources and other learning needs.

Contributions channelled directly to provide vital assistance and relief to impoverished families and vulnerable members of the community.
Our Impact
We have been blessed to support individuals, families, schools and communities. These efforts reflect our commitment to bringing benefit wherever we can, seeking only the pleasure of Allah.
Sponsored a student’s Hifth journey by covering his fees in full.
Spent time with and donated food to SOS Children’s Village in Thornton.
Contributed to school feeding schemes, including Kensington High School.
Distributed Qur’ans to Al-Manarah Institute and Al-Jamiyyah Al-Khairiyyah Hafith Institute.
Facilitated Aqeeqahs for newborns and Qurbaani on behalf of deceased loved ones.
